Like many, my interest in photography was sparked as a child by my parents; both of whom were keen amateur photographers. I had a choice between being bored as they took forever to get from a to b taking pictures of anything and everything or join them. My parents were wise to this and ensured that I was equipped with a camera early on. There was then a prolonged gap when I left home, where I took hardly any photographs at all. Great composition of the subject here. The delicate nature of the flower is mimicked in the pink floral design on the fairy cakes. With teh connection of the floral design it is communicated the sweetness of the cakes compliments the sweet scent of the flowers. Uou have captured the sight, taste and smell senses in the photo very effectively. V.
